Location: Houston, TX

Salary Range: $25.00 – $30.00/Hourly

The Rowland Group has an immediate contract to hire opening for a Helpdesk Support Analyst with a growing engineering client in Northwest Houston. The Analyst will provide technical assistance and respond to issues or questions by chat, email, in person or by phone in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for support tickets by phone or ticket systems
  • Monitor ticket system and escalate tickets if needed
  • Provide technical assistance for questions and problems
  • Resolve problems with networks and other computer systems
  • Diagnose system errors and other issues
  • Follow up with customers to ensure full resolution of issues
  • Assist with setup of computers for new hires when requested

Requirements:

  • 1+ year experience working with Dell computer hardware
  • 1+ year experience troubleshooting Windows 10 operating system
  • Associates degree in IT related field preferred
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills
  • Exceptional customer service orientation
